fall harvest

Updated: Nov 16, 2018

Mmmmm.......when the grapes look that good, its almost time for harvest!

The official start of fall is still a few days away but the weather gods think it has already started. Although the weather is cooler, we still have some awesome sunny days with highs of 25 degrees C. Harvest has started at many of the vineyards and soon Festival of the Grape will be upon us! Festival of the Grape or FOG as it is affectionately known, is Sept 30th this year. Already the town and wineries are gearing up for this great festival. Although we are fully booked for the FOG weekend, there are still many dates open and time to come up and enjoy some of the best wines BC has to offer.

A recent guest , Brenna Q, loved her stay with us and had this to say on Trip Advisor.

"Wonderful hosts and wonderful B & B! This is the best bed and breakfast I have stayed in by far. The rooms are 5-star clean, the sheets are soft, the hosts have thought of every little touch to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Judy and Ian are so friendly - they invited us to have a glass of wine with them, but unfortunately the bed was so comfortable and inviting that my friend and I went to bed early and didn't get to spend much time with them. The room we had was pool side so you can step out and enjoy the patio. The shared lounge offers a Keurig and plastic dishes and cutlery and there is also a BBQ to make lunches/dinners. Breakfast is served when at your requested time with a large selection for all dietary needs. I would recommend this B & B to anyone passing through wine country. I will definitely be back!"

Hope to see you all soon and have a glass of BC wine.

Judy
